SSS conducts RACE, e-Wheels

SSS Balanga Branch conducted Run After Contribution Evaders (RACE) operation and e-Wheels program in Bagac, last Tuesday.

SSS Balanga Branch Head Joel Y. Villafuerte and Acting Assistant Branch Head Victor S. Villanueva spearheaded the team that conducted the activities in the far-flung Bataan town. The SSS team from the capital town of Balanga travelled 26 kilometers to reach the area. The team swooped down on delinquent businesses and reminded them of their obligation of remitting their employees’ contributions. The team urged negligent business owners to respond within the prescribed period. SSS explained non-remittance of employees’ contribution is tantamount to depriving them of their right to social security and benefit.

For the e-Wheel program, SSS Balanga personnel set up tables in front of Bagac Public Market and assisted market vendors and members of other sectors in availing SSS services. SSS e-Wheels services include issuing Social Security (SS) Number and Payment Reference Number (PRN), My.SSS registration and online payment, and other-related inquiries. Villanueva said they are conducting e-Wheels program to extend SSS services and coverage to various areas in the province.
