About 5,000 health workers and other frontliners in the entire Bataan peninsula are going to get vaccination in the next few weeks, according to Bataan Gov. Albert Garcia.
The governor announced during the vaccination ceremony on Monday that all doctors, nurses and other medical workers are going to get inoculated as soon as the additional vaccines arrive in the coming days.

Garcia said he had been “very grateful to our doctors, nurses and other health workers who exerted sheer effort in helping extinguish the unseen enemy that wreaked havoc in our midst.”
Vince Dizon, deputy chief of Task Force Covid-19, said he had asked the regional office of Department of Health to send the next batch of AstraZeneca vaccine to Bataan.
