Central Luzon, champion of the Philippine National Skills Competition 2nd time in a row
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga—Region III (Central Luzon) repeated its feat last year by emerging again as champion of the 2014 Philippine National Skills Competition (PNSC).
Competitors from the Region snatched 10 of the 16 gold medals that were up for grabs in the different trade areas.
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Region 3 Director Ted Gatchalian led Central Luzon to become champion of the national skills competition in two consecutive years.
At the opening of the national skills competition held here earlier, TESDA Director General Joel Villanueva announced that winners in the national skills competition will have the opportunity to compete and represent the Philippines at the ASEAN Skills Competition (ASC) in Vietnam, October this year.
