MORONG, Bataan – While conflicting opinions on the possible reactivation of the mothballed Bataan Nuclear Plant have snowballed with the impending power supply shortage in the coming years, questions on the operational safety remain the fundamental issues to be satisfied in public consultations with the residents.

P50 million road project at AFAB sought

Three power plants to rise in Bataan

   BALANGA CITY, Bataan- Rep. Enrique T. Garcia, Jr. of the Province’s 2nd congressional district has disclosed the plan of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) to augment   the existing transmission lines in Bataan with submarine cable to supply power requirements of Metro Manila and the Visayas with the expected operations of three power plants with additional generation capacity of 4,500 megawatts within six years.
