BBJVI Chairman Inton meets major investors

Bataan Baseco Joint Venture Inc. (BBJVI) Chairman and CEO Antonio Joseph “Jopet” Inton met with top executives from leading investment and infrastructure companies to explore potential partnerships and capital opportunities during a meeting at Marriott Hotel, Pasay City, last September 26.

The discussion focused on initial investment prospects with the Investment Capital Corporation of the Philippines (ICCP), Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), and Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC).

ICCP, a known player in investment banking and a partner of the Development Bank of Singapore, is also one of the investors in the Hermosa Economic Zone in Bataan. Meanwhile, MPTC is widely recognized as the operator of major expressways such as the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX).

Among those present in the meeting were ICCP President and COO Manny Ocampo, BBJVI Adviser Doji Libatique, MPTC Vice President Vik Apuzen, SBMA Director John Inton, MPIC Board Director and former MPTC President and CEO Rod Franco, ICCP and Science Parks Philippines Co-founder Rommel Leuterio, and ICCP Managing Director Joseph de Lara.

The meeting signals a growing interest in expanding strategic investments in Bataan, which has been positioning itself as a hub for economic growth, infrastructure development, and industrial innovation.
