Various important infrastructure projects in the province more particularly in Pilar town will continue unhampered despite the troubling threat of Covid-19, according to Mayor Charlie Pizarro. Pizarro said construction of access roads in preparation for the expansion program of the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan are now underway in anticipation of more investment pouring into the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB).
Under the: Bayanihan to Recover as One Act” or Bayanihan 2 bill recently passed by the House of Representatives, lawmakers believe the best way to heal the tourism sector is to build roads, bridges, ports, and airports even as the hotels and facilities catering to tourists. Pilar town is the first municipality tapped by the AFAB for its P4 billion expansion program. Roads and port facilities are among the priority in its expansion projects, said Pizarro.
