The Mariveles LGU led by Mayor AJ Concepcion brought services to the grassroots level spearheading the conduct of Abot-Kamay Hanggang Barangay sa Panahon ng Pandemya in Barangay Poblacion a week ago.
Provided to village folks for non-medical services were late birth registration; dog/cat vaccination; senior citizen and PWD registration; national I.D. registration; job fair; disaster preparedness orientation; solid waste management orientation; free haircut; and distribution of seedlings. Medical services offered to Poblacion residents were consultation (non-Covid only); dental care(fluoride application); HPN/DM screening; maternal health care; flu vaccination; and Covid-19 vaccination.
Other services provided were PhilHealth profiling; CPR training; boat registration; fisherfolk registration; and farmers registration.
“Patuloy po nating ilalapit ang iba’t ibang serbisyo ng ating pamahalaan sa ating mga kababayan sa pamamagitan ng Serbisyong Abot-Kamay.
Asahan po ninyo na ang ating lokal na pamahalaan sa pangunguna po ng inyong lingkod ay bibisita sa inyong mga barangay upang ilapit at maibigay sa inyo ang mga serbisyo ng ating Pamahalaang Bayan nang libre”, said the Mayor.
The Sangguniang Bayan led by Vice Mayor Lito Rubia is in full support to the program. Councilor Susan Madla-Murillo, Councilor Vonnel Isip, and Councilor Danny Banal joined the conduct of Abot-Kamay Hanggang Barangay sa Panahon ng Pandemya in Poblacion.
Municipal Administrator Tito Catipon, a former councilor, authored at the municipal council the unique program at the time of former mayor Jesse Concepcion.
He also attended the activity.
