In response to the request of farmers associations in Dinalupihan for horses, the Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO) led by Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Alberto Venturina distributed 25 draft horses to qualified farmers belonging to Indigenous People and those residing in isolated communities in said municipality namely Barangay Maligaya, Barangay Bayan-Bayanan, and Barangay Payangan yesterday, April 15.
In a related development, the PVO has also distributed 35 heads of cattle and 5 heads of carabao to qualified farmers in Mariveles last April 7 which aims to increase production of the livestock industry in said municipality.
Said distribution is under the Livelihood Improvement Program of the Provincial Government of Bataan in consonance to the Province’s vision of quality growth even during this time of pandemic.
