Pilman Balanga Club De Futbol won the championship in two categories Under 7 and Under 11 in the just concluded 2nd Lakan Football Cup held in Malolos Sports Complex, Bulacan.
The team is also First Runner Up in Under 5 Category.
The event, an open tournament, was participated by various football teams in Luzon.
The team is coached by Roger Alegre, a teacher at Cupang Integrated School in Balanga City.
The feat is seen as a prelude of good things to come given the school just started the football development program mid last year.
First time competing, Pilman Balanga Club De Futbol made a stir for superb performance against old-time competitors.
