Members of the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) Mariveles led by Vice Mayor Lito Rubia have extended assistance to two constituents who badly need help. SB Mariveles gave considerable financial aid and grocery items to Ryan Torrevillas Serrano of Brgy. Townsite who is undergoing dialysis treatment for two years now, and to Geraldine Estopa of Sitio Paliparan, Brgy. Batangas 2 whose child Baby Alhorine has physical defect of missing anus opening.
Personnel of SB Mariveles brought the assistance to beneficiaries in their respective barangays. This is just a simple way for SB Mariveles members to help needy residents using money from their own pockets especially now at the time of COVID 19 pandemic, stated SB Mariveles in its Facebook account.
Both Serrano and Estopa thanked Rubia and other member of Mariveles council for immediately helping them upon knowing their plight. Other SB Mariveles members are Councilor Tito Catipon, Councilor Angel Sunga, Councilor Susan Murillo, Councilor Ronald Arcenal, Councilor Joey Carandang, Councilor Harry Golocan, Councilor Turing Isip, ABC President Venancio Villapando Jr., SK Municipal Federation President Vincent Charles Banzon, and IP Municipal Representative Manuel Pacayay.
SB Mariveles members also appealed to local residents to help each other in this time of pandemic and strictly follow the protocols to prevent the spread of the dreaded virus.
