Sea food chain magnate earmarks P20 M for expansion in Bataan

Speaking before  government officials led by Bataan Governor Albert Raymond Garcia last Friday during the launching of the Bataan International Triathlon on November this year at the Las Casas de Acuzar in the coastal town of Bagac,  Raymund Magdaluyo  owner of Red Crab Group of Companies reaffirmed his commitment to invest in the historic province for its bright prospect in the eco-tourism thrust of the Bataan Peninsula Tourism Foundation Incorporated (BPTFI) chaired by Mrs. Vicky Sandejas Garcia to integrate tourism development with the upgrading of facilities in historical sites of the eleven towns and this city.

Magdaluyo, who owns a beach resort in Morong town, this province, said the marketing people of the Blackbird ‘s Seafood Island is evaluating a viable location to  put up the restaurant with 1,000 seating capacity  either in Dinalupihan, Orani or Mariveles  towns .

According to Magdaluyo, in line with Seafood Island’s expansion with 28 branches since the group that created the boodle feast is celebrating 10 years of extreme seafood bonding this September 16, this year.

Governor Garcia commended the management of Seafood Island restaurant in selecting the peninsula in its expansion plan which truly reflects the thrust and confidence of the investors to current leadership and favorable business climate.

Garcia said the provincial government would always provide the necessary infrastructure and right mechanism to propel the province’s economic growth.

The promotion of Bataan as a sport tourism province at the launching of  theTriathlon event is likely to beef up the local tourism industry which is now the present trend to lure tourists in the country, Garcia explained.

Garcia added “ we should make Bataan a premier tourism hub in Central Luzon with its shorelines comparable with best beaches around the country and the unique status of Bataan, its Mount Samat “ Dambana ng Kagitingan”and other historical sites capture the imagination of the young generations for the valiant stand of American and Filipino soldiers against the much superior armaments of Japanese invaders during the World War ll.
