VP Binay extends help to Orani coastal barangay

ORANI, Bataan – Local officials in this first class municipality recently distributed relief goods to 500 families in Barangay Pulo victimized by Typhoon Glenda last July of this year.

Mayor Benjamin “Benjie” Serrano, Jr. said the relief goods came from the office of the Vice President of the Philippines, Jejomar Binay.

PCWC conducts orientation on child friendly governance in Limay

LIMAY, Bataan- The training team of the Provincial Council for the Welfare of Children (PCWC) conducted on Tuesday an orientation on the roles and functions of the local councils for the protection of children at the Limay  municipal hall.

Provincial Social Welfare Officer (PSWO) and PCWC co-chairperson Mrs. Marilyn Tigas said that the Limay Municipal Council for the Protection of Children (LMCPC) sought the assistance of PCWC in the organization and management of their local council.

BALANGA CITY, Bataan –  Daan-daang mga taong may kapansanan o persons with disability (PWD) sa lalawigang ito ang nagpakita ng kani-kanilang mga talento sa  Bataan People’s Center  bilang bahagi ng 36th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week.

Kasabay sa pagdiriwang na ito, pinarangalan ang bayan ng Mariveles bilang unang PWD-friendly municipality na inorganisa ng Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office at ng Provincial Council on Disability Affairs.
