Tibig is Young Entrepreneur Awardee in the 1st Asean Business Awards 2014

CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – Paulo Tibig, a young successful businessman, renowned entrepreneur speaker and a native of this City, added another feather in his cap when he was named Young Entrepreneur Awardee in the local 1st Asean Business Awards 2014.

Tibig is the president of VCargo Worldwide. His earlier major entrepreneur awards included: one of the Top Ten Entrepreneur of 2005 by Entrepreneur Philippines; winning mentor in the 2007 Entrepreneur Schools of Asia (ESA) Teenpreneur Challenge; and finalist in the 2008 Nokia Mobile Entrepreneur Awards.

Bataan tourism office to launch novelty, innovative, quality festivals

Habagat triggers light to heavy rains, flooding 2 villages

209 distressed OFWs benefit from DOLE livelihood assistance program

BALANGA CITY, BATAAN – More than 200 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Central Luzon recently benefited from the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) livelihood assistance program.

DOLE Regional Director Atty. Ana C. Dione said that the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Regional Welfare Office 3, under the stewardship of its director, Ma. Lourdes Reyes, released various livelihood assistance amounting to P2.09 million.

Youth tapped in climate change adaptation

CITY OF BALANGA, Bataan – With the Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ (DENR’s) launching of its massive tree planting program to attain its target of reforesting more than 22,000 hectares in the Central Luzon area alone, the DENR, Philippine Information Agency (PIA), and Pilipinas Natin (PN) toured various schools, including the Bataan Peninsula State University, Bataan Heroes Memorial College  and other universities in Central Luzon in their bid to inform, inspire and involve the youth on the climate change adaptation and mitigation initiatives.
