SOPHIA School inaugurated

   BALANGA CITY, Bataan – After almost a year of brainstorming, consulting, and fulfilling the requirements of the City Government and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Sophia School for Skills Development, Inc. (SOPHIA) located at the 3rd floor of  CT Edifice, Capitol Drive, this City was inaugurated last August 23. No less than Monsignor Reggie R. Hizon, in his homily, invoked the Holy Spirit to protect the school and guide the staff and students.

Long boarding to lure youth away from illegal drugs

SAMAL, Bataan- Skateboarders almost in top speed rolled on Sunday before noon in long boarding along MacArthur Highway from barangay Mabatang in Abucay town to Samal, Bataan or a distance of about four kilometers.

Many stood balancing on their skate boards while some preferred to sit down on their skates as they passed the dangerous sharp curve in barangay Sta. Lucia, some meters away from the Samal plaza.

Gov. Garcia cites potential growths in tourism, investments

PSA Bataan Participates in DENR National Greening Program

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Bataan plants a hundred seedlings in participation to the National Greening Program (NGP) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) at Barangay Parang, Bagac, Bataan on August 29, 2014.

The tree planting activity, spearheaded by Provincial Statistics Officer Ledesma L. Morante was part of the month-long National Statistics Office 74th Anniversary Celebration in coordination with OIC-CENRO Juanito N. David of the DENR Bagac.
