P50 million road project at AFAB sought

BALANGA CITY, Bataan-  A Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) member is seeking P 50 million for the improvement of a portion of the zigzag road inside the vast Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) complex in Mariveles, this Province.

Jose Villapando, Sr. Transport Committee chair requested Senator Ferdinand “”Bongbong”” Marcos, Senate Public Works chair , to include the widening of almost one kilometer road in the preparation of the national public works plan.

Balanga COP sent to Libya to assist distressed OFWs

CAMP TOLENTINO, Bataan – Supt. Joshua Alejandro, Chief of Police of Balanga City, left the other day for Libya to assist Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) trapped in the war-torn country.

This was learned from Sr. Supt. Flynn E. Dongbo, PNP director, who said that Col. Alejandro’s assistance was sought by the Department of Foreign Affairs in the repatriation of the 11,000 OFWs still trapped in Libya.

Anti-smoking ordinance, ipatutupad sa Pilar

Orion to hold free prostate screening

   ORION, Bataan – This municipality will be holding a free prostate screening on August 28 in a move to curb the number of males suffering from prostate cancer, the second most common cancer type among Filipino men. The screening and free provision of medicine will be held at the Municipal Health Center from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Digital rectal examination and consultation for urinal problems can also be availed.
